Below is listed some basic information on the services that we currently
offer to the residence and visitors in our coverage area. If you would
like more information on the services that we offer, feel free to contact us
with your request and we will answer it as quickly as possible.
- Emergency - Basic Life Support
-
TCAA maintains and operates three ambulances that are registered
and certified by the PA Department of Health to provide Basic Life
Support services. We maintain a high level of preparedness
through continued education, multiple training sessions, and equipment
and skills reviews. A majority of the emergency transportation
that we do is to Tyler Memorial Hospital, with others being
transported to other facilities given the patient's need for other
emergency services.
- Emergency - Transfers
-
TCAA attempts to keep crew and vehicles available 24 hours a day
to handle emergency transfers. Mostly these transfers are
between hospitals with the destination being the facility that the
patient will be admitted. With the need to advanced care during
these transports, normally we will utilize the additional services of
advanced life support or a higher level of emergency care.
- Non-Emergency Transportation
-
When crews are available and normal operations allow, TCAA does
non-emergency transports for our subscribers. For the most
current information on this service please see the insert in your
subscriber information packet.
- Dive / Water Rescue
-
TCAA maintains and operates the only Dive team in the
county. This service is available to our community and as needed
in the surrounding counties. Members are trained in swift water
rescue, ice rescue, and under water search and recovery.
- Rescue
-
TCAA maintains and operates a light rescue and a heavy rescue
vehicle. Members are trained in Basic Vehicle Rescue, Special
Vehicle Rescue, Low and High angle rope rescue, and search and
rescue.
If you are interested in joining TCAA and assisting in providing these
services to our community please see our membership section for more
