INTRODUCTION: Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of T.C.A.A. The challenging nature and scope of our duties, coupled with the need to maintain an essential bond of trust between us and the community we serve, require that we have people who are capable, reliable, and trustworthy and who will conduct themselves in a positive and professional manner in representing the Association. With that in mind, we ask that you read the following, before completing the attached application form. OVERVIEW: TCAA is a volunteer organization whose purpose and mission include: Basic Life Support Emergency Medical Care; Emergency Transportation; Emergency Road and Vehicle Rescue; Water Emergency Response; and Search and Rescue Operations in the vicinity of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Supporting these operations is our cadre of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Drivers, Ambulance Attendants, and other specialists who are either trained in emergency operations or are willing to complete such training. This may include such courses as EMT, First Responder, First Aid, CPR, Emergency Vehicle Operations, Vehicle Rescue, Rope Rescue, and Water Rescue. TRAINING AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
CONCLUSION: When we receive your completed application, a member of our Personnel Committee will contact you to schedule an interview. Following the interview, the application will be reviewed by our Board of Directors at the next scheduled meeting, after which you will be notified of their decision.
